Our Mission & Vision

Mission

Glorifying God through Spirit-empowered obedience to the Commands and Commission of Jesus

Vision

To be a Church where each generation strives to glorify God through Spirit-empowered obedience to the Commands and Commission of Jesus

Our Core Values

Engaging Membership

We strive to be people who engage with the Church in the way God has always intended. We seek members who are actively involved in the life of the church, both in worship and in service.

Thriving Families

We are a church where generational faithfulness is important. We do not just want kids or parents participating in the church; we want families to participate together. We help disciple families to become healthy in every area of life. Thriving families help create a thriving church and world.

Transforming Communities

Thriving individuals and families can work to transform their communities. We want to actively live and share the gospel in our respective communities, so that the light of Jesus begins to shine all over the region.

Advancing Kingdom

While we advance the Kingdom of God locally through transforming communities, we also strive to extend its reach to the ends of the earth. We actively participate in evangelism and mission to accomplish this.

What We Believe

  • We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and that it was written by man, moved by the Holy Spirit; that it is the supreme, infallible authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

We believe that the Godhead eternally exist in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; that these three are one God, having essentially the same nature, attributes and perfections, and are worthy of the same homage, confidence and obedience.

We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power.  We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

We believe in Jesus Christ, that He is the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, virgin-born, sinless in His life, making atonement for the sins of the world by His death.  We believe in His physical resurrection, and his bodily ascension, His lifelong intercession; and His physical, imminent, pre-tribulational, premillennial return.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who came from God to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; and by his indwelling to regenerate, sanctify, comfort, and instruct those who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that all who accept Jesus Christ as Savior and lord will rejoice forever in God’s presence in Heaven; and those who refuse to accept Christ as Savior and Lord will be forever separate from God in eternal Hell.

We believe in the church (a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and of which all regenerated people are members).  We believe that a local church is a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized (immersed) upon a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, work and fellowship.  We believe that the ordinances of baptism (immersion) and the Lord’s Supper were committed to these local churches for perpetual observance.

We believe that all who are born again by the Spirit through faith in Christ; as revealed in the Scriptures, are assured of their salvation from the very moment that they take Him to be their Savior; and that this assurance is not founded on any concept of personal merit.

We believe in the personality of Satan.  Cast out of heaven, today he reigns as the prince and power of the air.  Satan already has been conquered by the victory wrought by Jesus Christ.  Satan’s final doom is in the Lake of Fire.

We believe that every human being is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith and practice; that each church in independent and autonomous and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority, and that, Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from the dictations or patronage of the other.
